Hot Spot

Yangshan Deep Water Port:
Yangshan Deep Water Port is a super ¨C size international container port with annual handing capacity of 25 million TEU; the designed water depth is 15.5m, suitable for the 5th and 6th generation container vessels, 52 deep ¨C water berths. The first phase and the second phase of Yangshan Deep Water Port and been completed and put into use, with annual handing capacity up to 5 million TEU.
Yanghshan Deep Water Port connects Donghai Bridge, Donghai Brigde II, Hulu highway and the neighboring road network, serves as a transshipment center for other smaller ports along the Yangtze River Delta and the whole China coastal line.

Donghai Bridge:
Donghai Bridge started the construction from 26th June 2002 and operated on the end of 2005. The construction was the milestone in China bridge construction history for its design, technique, and management.
The bridge is an important project for Shanghai international transshipment center and Yangshan Deep Water Port and it offers the service of water, electronic, and telecommunication for the land transportation in Yangshan Deep Water Port area.
Donghai Bridge connects Yangshan Deep Water Port and Lingang New City with the total length of 32.5 km, and the width of 31.5 m and Donghai Bridge II, which connects Yangshan Deep Water Port and Lingang Industrial Zone, is to be built with both road and railway.

Shanghai Modern Manufacture Industrial Zone:
Linggang Park is as one of the 6 industrial zones in Shanghai, which mainly focuses on national-level modern equipment manufacturing industry, developing comprehensively the modern manufacturing industry, export process, modern logistics R&D service, education and training, and internal and external trade.

Logistics Zone:
Lingang Logistics Zone is located between Central Living Area and Heavy Equipment Zone with an area of 21.4 sq km and connected with Yangshan Deep Water Port through Donghai Bridge. This zone is set to develop the modern logistics industry featuring full integration of the second industry and the tertiary industry. Luchaogang container station, the port supplementary area and the inner-river transshipment area facilitate sea-rail forwarding, water-water transit and multi-modal transport so that inland area logistics and the port logistics can be joined efficiently. Logistics Zone consist of Yangshan Free Trade Port Area, International Logistics Park, Warehousing and Transshipment Park.

Pudong Railway:
Pudong Railway is the main artery, which connects Pudong International Airport and Waigaoqiao Port exteriorly, and the industrial zone and logistics zone interiorly. It also connects the jinshan branch line on the west and Huning line on the north and becomes one part of the national railway network.

Pudong International Airport:
The Airport now has one 4E-class runway with the length of 4000m and the width of 60m, one runway with the length of 3800m and the width of 60m, and the annual passenger volume is about 3,650 person times. The overall planning is that the Airport will have 4 south-north 4E-class runways and one 800,000 sq m are terminal. The annual passenger volume shall be about 70-80 million person times and the annual cargo handling capacity shall be 5 million tons, and the number of flights landing or taking off shall be 320,000 each year.
